Great news - Carrie is now safe at the Rescue in Alabama - Daniel will add pictures by tomorrow morning. Daniel said she is more beautiful in person than she is on her picture from the shelter.

Daniel Stokley was given $150.00 this morning - it was deposited in his bank account for the pulling and transport of Carrie to Billy. Now we need to raise vetting money. Billy greed to take Carrie as we promised we wouldn't leave him short on the money to properly vet her.

Daniel said she was spayed yesterday, that her eye needs to be checked as it is "red and teary" and that she was not tested for hw and wasn't given all her vaccinations.



Carrie came from a high kill shelter in Georgia and we are praying that that she avoids shelter illnesses.

I just returned from the bank and I made a direct deposit into Daniel Stokley's bank account in the amount of $150.00. This is the initial $ pledged by myself and Theresa Perez to pull and transport Carrie. We now need to raise the $400.00 for proper vetting expenses that go along with the rescue. As you know, there are many more expenses that go along with the pull fee and transport fee ...ie...s&n, heartworm test, blood test, rabies shots and tags, and on and on. If the dog is healthy $400 should pay for vetting and heartworm preventive. If Carrie is HW positive - the costs for vetting go up. The initial deposit has been made and we are hoping you will support our efforts to help pay for the vetting of Carrie <3

We were just notified this morning that the original person - Billy Howard, who has a rescue in Alabama came back on line when he got up this morning and he is going to take Carrie into his rescue.



Please, everyone....we have the pull fee paid and the original transport $ from Louisiana to Alabama but we still need vetting (initial vetting, vaccines, possibly s&n, heartworm test (hoping test is negative), heartworm preventive, etc.....



Please help us ensure that Carrie will get the proper vet care once she is at Billy's rescue.

We are attempting to pull Carrie from a high kill shelter in Georgia and have her transported to Louisiana. The pull fee is $40.00 and we estimate that the transportation fees will run $300.00. The rescue in Louisians will take her, but they need $200.00 set aside for vetting.

We already have pledges of $150.00 but still need another $400.00 top save this poor soul. All of her kennel mates have already been saved.
